Love Day

Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you sweet little things. Being a single Mommy I surprisingly don’t miss Valentines from my ex husband . Do you know what I miss about Valentines Day? The cute little punch out cards that you give out in school and the boxes you made to receive cards in. Oh well, I sure hope that all of the babies here have one fun day. Valentines for grown ups isn’t nearly as fun as it can be for baby and Mommy.   Mommy Shirley

Bath Time

There is nothing like ending a busy day with a warm bath, complete with bubbles and a rubber ducky and all your favorite bath toys. Playing and splashing and giggling ‘til both of us are completely wet. I would lather your hair and make funny shapes with the shampoo, then gently lean you back so I could rinse all the bubbles out of your hair, making sure not to get a single drop of suds in your eyes. A warm fluffy towel would be next to snuggle around you, drying you completely, then and a heavy dousing of sweet smelling baby powder, followed by a diapering and freshly laundered jammies to keep you safe and warm throughout the night. Yes, there is nothing like bath time at the end of a busy day. Mommy Maggy

Picking My Wedding Dress

As some of you may know, I have recently become engaged!  It is so exciting, but with that excitement comes all the frustration and planning.  There is so much to do, and even though I still have until October, it seems I just do not have enough time.  Now that we have picked our colors it makes things a bit more easy, and now the biggest choice is upon Me.  What dress should I get.  I have seen this one in a shop, but the thing is, there are way too many choices out there, just when I see one I adore, I look to my left and there is another one I adore more.  I was told that you will ‘just know’ your dress when you see it, I think that’s a bunch of crap. lol.  Maybe some of you could give me some advice! All Better

Aww, does my little one have a cold? Feeling all icky inside?  Mommy will make it all better.  I’ll get you in your coziest pjs, wrap you up tight in your softest blanky, and tuck you in tight, like a bug in a rug!  Then I’ll spoon feed you some chicken soup, and read you your favorite story and even hide your medicine in a spoon of sugar, hehe!  Then I will hold you and rock you ‘til you fall fast asleep in my arms until at last I have chased those yuckies away! See, mommy knows how to make it all better! Mommy Maggie 1-888-430-2010

Play Offs

I live in Seattle.  I am proud to live here and have always been proud of where I live.  There is a beauty to the state of Washington that is no where else.  Do not get me wrong, other states are just as beautiful, but to me Washington State is gorgeous!  Not only do we have the full beauty of Nature, we have the Seahawks.   My husband has been a die hard fan of the Seahawks since they became a team in the 70’s, and in all that time he has never ever missed a game.  He has heard, watched, or been at every single one of their games.  His enthusiasim has rubbed off on me over the years, and this year the Hawks have a chance to go to the Superbowl as long as they win of course. lol.  Tomorrow they play the Bears, and I really hope the Hawks win the game.  To those of you who follow the NFL I hope you enjoy all the games this weekend, and I hope there are some fellow “12th man” enthusiasts out there as well.  GO HAWKS!!! Disobeying Mommy

You were very naughty at the New Year’s Eve party last night! I saw you trying to sneak a sip from Mommy’s cocktail – even after I told you that it was a no-no. Didn’t I tell you that it was a grown up drink? That it was not for abies like you? But you wanted to be like all the Mommies and Daddies and be a big boy, didn’t you! Well, you want something to drink do you? Fine, mommy will feed you something special in your sippy cup. Something that will make your tummy grumble and your insides knot up with cramps; something that will have you doubled over and send your tummy into convulsions.   And just when you think you can not take the cramps anymore, it will happen…the uncontrollable urge to go messy in your diapy – lots and lots of messies. The waves and waves of spasms will over whelm you as you fill you diaper past capacity. With you tear stain cheeks you will look to me for comfort, but I will offer none. I only offer you these words of wisdom – “perhaps next time you will think twice when thinking of disobeying Mommy!”   Happy New Year Everybody!!! (heeheeheehee) Maggie
