The Silent Passer-by

// <![CDATA[// // <![CDATA[// When I was a child, I didn’t have hair on my head, just some stubs. I liked to watch my friends play. I would join them now and then, but I preferred watching. Every day, we would see an old man walking by our playground, carrying an umbrella. He had big ears and a bald head. The moment my friends saw him pass by, they would shout, “Hey, deaf and dumb, what’s the time?” They told me that he could neither hear nor speak. It was early evening. I was standing at the gate of my house, when I saw the old man coming. I was alone. There were no friends around to shout the usual words of ‘greeting’. But how could I let this man walk by without saying anything? So for the first time, I asked in a soft voice, “Hey deaf and dumb, what’s the time?” The old man looked at me. Then he looked at his watch and replied,”It’s five thirty.” Lorraine I ran inside the house and never shouted at the old man after that day.

Bring on the Clown

When you were a kid one of your favorite times was your birthday. Around my house you were king for the day. You could expect presents, and cake with ice cream, balloons and my personal favorite the clown. He would make you laugh with his silly antics and make up those cool balloon toys. That is something I miss now that I am getting older you don’t get all that cool stuff unless pay for it yourself. Oh well if yours is coming up soon don’t forget to invite me and the clowns. Louie

Missing My Little One

If you all don’t know, my husband and I have an AB that lives with us on a full time basis. They are on vacation for the next two weeks, visiting family and traveling to the Greek Isles. They just left this Morning, and I have to say I miss them terribly already. I keep walking into their room and sitting on their bed. It’s amazing how much you can miss someone once they are gone. I know they will be reading this at some point, so know I miss you little one. Luckily I have all of you to keep me company on the phone *smiles* . All My Love, Your Mommy Sue 1-888-430-2010

Mommy Knows

Sometimes Mamma has advice for you and you just know in your little heart that you know better than she does. So you go out and do as you please. Maybe you even get away with it. You start to feel very pleased with yourself and the next thing you know you’re doing something else she has advised against. It feels so good to make your own decisions and to be right. Mamma didn’t know what on earth she was talking about. Then it happens though, you slip up. This fun you have been having turns bad very quickly. Who is it you run to with hopes that you’ll be told it will be all right? That same Mamma who you thought was surely not as smart as you were. No matter what my babies do I am there for them. So never be afraid to fall back in Mommy’s arms. Mommy Shirley

Back in to Diapers

Adult Baby Andrew made a mess in his pants again! Mommy Star has tried for weeks now to potty train Andrew, it seems the harder I try to get Andrew to use the potty, the more accidents he has. Today Mommy got a phone call from Andrews teacher asking me to come in and meet with the nurse to discuss Andrews little problem. I was informed that Andrew had been having accidents in his pants at school too and the nurse recommends putting him back in diapers. I picked up some pampers and baby wipes on the way home and pulled in to my driveway as the school bus dropped Andrew off. “Come inside Andrew we need to talk” Mommy Star 1 888 430-2010
