Poor Baby Tommy has been sick all week and finally called his Mommy Candy to take care of him. Baby felt a little warm so first thing Mommy did is take his temperature the old fashion way of course. Well now, isn’t this just the most perfect item! I think every Mommy should have one of these in her arsenal, don’t you? First it’s pink (who doesn’t like pink?); secondly, it latex (mmmm, how it feels to the touch, against the skin, the sound it makes, need I say anything more about it?); third, it keeps little ones safe and secure and immobilized (can’t have our little one trying to get out of their crib, now can we?); and of course the fact that it is a very effective disciplinary tool! When I was young my room was very messy, my mom use to just shut the door. I had a friend that bought me a picture that read the title of my blog ”Bless this Mess.”  Odd as it may be today I am as clean as clean can be! Thank God I grew out of that stage! Have you heard about this? Apparently there is a high demand for breast milk. Not only that, but because of the testing and processing done to the milk, the price for mother’s milk through legitimate channels seems to be quite high. This has led to an underground network of “boot-leg” milk, as it were.

So I’m reading about this and so many visions are going through my head. Back street meetings taking place in trench coats and hats pulled down low; the swapping of unmarked envelopes and coolers wrapped in plain brown wrappers; mommies huddled under a tree at the park, whispering nervously, scrambling as the park police come into view; a nervous mommy being questioned under a hot, bare light bulb – “talk or we’ll get the paddle!”…omg, the list just keeps going on and on and on, hehehe. Who woulda thunk that we mommies would be carrying around our own white gold mines? (just food for thought )

Baby BryBry was such a bad boy today.  Not only did he poop in his diaper, he made Mommy Ava chase him around the nursery before I finally grabbed him by the back of his dirty diaper.  Baby Brain’s diaper was so full that it was sagging and slipping down his waist.  Once I got Baby Bry up on the changing table I had to use 2 wash cloths and several baby wipes to clean up the mess.

After Baby was powdered and diapered it was time for a nap and a bottle and a sweet lullaby before Baby Bry falls asleep in my arms.

When I was a child, I didn’t have hair on my head, just some stubs.

I liked to watch my friends play. I would join them now and then, but I preferred watching.

Every day, we would see an old man walking by our playground, carrying an umbrella. He had big ears and a bald head. The moment my friends saw him pass by, they would shout, “Hey, deaf and dumb, what’s the time?” They told me that he could neither hear nor speak.

It was early evening. I was standing at the gate of my house, when I saw the old man coming. I was alone. There were no friends around to shout the usual words of ‘greeting’.

But how could I let this man walk by without saying anything? So for the first time, I asked in a soft voice, “Hey deaf and dumb, what’s the time?”

The old man looked at me. Then he looked at his watch and replied,”It’s five thirty.”

I think summer camp is an experience that every child should have.  Now of course I always have to put my own little spin on it though.  I would send my little one to a ‘special’ camp – one that would send my unsuspecting little one into a panic once they realized what kind of camp it truly was – one that confiscates all their regular clothes and replaces them with pretty pink dresses and petticoats and little pink diapers…one that teaches them how to be girlie and quite feminine in their mannerisms…one that teaches these knew little girls how to please little (and big) boys, hehehe.  Then at the end of their stay, there would be a pageant showing off all they have learned for all their mommies and daddies.  Now that’s the kind of summer camp I would love send my little one to.

One night when the other stars were dancing around the moon Little Star set off to see her friend, Twinkle. Now Twinkle was a wishing star and could make Little Stars wish come true. She wanted to be the brightest star in the universe! But Little Star couldn’t find Twinkle anywhere and she started to cry. Would she ever be as bright as the other stars ?

Suddenly she heard a friendly voice calling out ,”Little Star, Little Star grab hold of my tail and I’ll take you for a ride!” It was Corky the comet. Corky had a long silvery tail and was always rushing through space. Straight away Little Star leaped onto Corky’s tail. It was time for an adventure!

“Where are we going?” Little Star asked Corky. “We’re going to visit my old friend Mr. Sun, the biggest and brightest star of all.” Little Star was so excited she nearly fell off Corky’s tail. As Corky sped through space Little Star could feel the warm glow from Mr. Sun getting closer.” We’ll fly once around Mr. Sun and then it’s back home for tea” bellowed Corky. Little Star couldn’t wait.

As they got nearer Corky heard Little Star shout out ,”Hello Mr. Sun.”

Mr. Sun slowly turned around to see who was there. “ Well if it isn’t my old friend Corky… and who have you brought along to see me today?” he said with a warm and friendly voice. “This” said Corky, is my new friend Little Star. “ It’s a pleasure to meet you Mr. Sun “ said Little Star. “ I wish I was big and bright like you.”

Mr. Sun chuckled to himself. “ It will be a long time before you’re as big as me “ he said, “But you’ll be much brighter sooner than you think “ he said, winking at Corky.

Then Mr. Sun reached out his long shimmering arm and shook hands with Little Star, and as he let go a strange thing happened. Little Star felt all tingly inside, her eyes lit up and suddenly she started to glow brighter and brighter.” Looks like Mr. Sun has cheered you up a bit”, said Corky. Little Star gave Corky a big smile then turned around to wave goodbye to Mr. Sun. “ Thank you for making me bright and shiny”, shouted Little Star.” You always were”, said Mr. Sun ,”you just had to feel it inside.”

Then with a whoosh from Corky’s tail they shot off through space and before Little Star knew it they were back home just in time for tea.

I had a wonderful call the other day with a special little one named Cammie. We went to the beach for the day, and actually invited Stacie and Lauren to join us. Now Cammie tries to be a good boy, but he can get a little rambunctious at times, and before I knew it, he had trampled on a sand castle of a little girl. And if that weren’t enough, he became very rude about the wonderful lunch that Mommy Lauren had made. Well let me tell you, he went over my knee so fast it would have made your head spin! Right there on the beach, for everyone to see, he had his diaper pulled down and across my knee he went for a stern and hard spanking! I think out little Cammie will think twice about sassing back for quite some time!

I love surprising someone when I inform them of their new role of not just a baby, but of a sissy baby! Leading them to their newly decorated nursery, complete with a pink crib and all the frilly trimmings! They have the most cutest, dumbfounded looks on their faces when they realize that this is going to be their new life, hehe. I just pat them on their heads, take them by the hand, and lead them to the changing table. Soon, they are all settled in their crib, with bottle in mouth and blankie in hand, being the little sissy baby that I know they are!
